The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 14 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri Prateek Raj, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gumla. On 13.02.2025, at about 04:00 p.m., the informant came to know that the dead body of an unknown person was lying near village Kadasili Sarna Toli. The deceased was garrotted to death. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that his name has come in confession of co-accused. Mr. Praful Jojo, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that belt which was used in committing the murder of the deceased was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. From perusal of the postmortem report, it appears that the deceased was throttled to death. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Prateek Raj, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gumla, in connection with Ghaghra P.S.
