The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: “A. Issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.3 to issue a regular A-Khata/property tax extract in respect of the petition property bearing R.S. No. 182/15 measuring 2 Guntas and 1 Anna situated at Kangrali B.K., Belagavi as per the representation given by the petitioner dated. 04/02/2025 vide Annexure-A.” - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-D:3821 WP No. 101458 of 2025 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that request of the petitioner by way of representations dated 19.08.2024 and 04.02.2025 to issue a Katha in respect to the property of the petitioner, which falls within the jurisdiction of respondent No.3, has not been considered. 4. In that view of the matter, whenever requests/representations are submitted by a citizen to an authority, the same is required to be considered and necessary orders passed either accepting or rejecting. Of course, when the request is rejected, reasons have to be given. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed. ii) A mandamus is issued.
