The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Meral P.S. Case No. 105/2025, for the offence registered under Section 21(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Garhwa. 3. On 14.05.2025 at about 10:40 A.M., Meral police on the basis of confidential information intercepted a Tyota Car bearing registration no. JH03AM-1980 from NH-75 Pillar No. 12, Meral. On search, commercial quantity of cough syrup was recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. but he was not apprehended at spot. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused. 5. Learned special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that bail application of the co-accused persons, who were apprehended at spot, has been rejected by co-ordinate Bench of this court earlier. 6. Considering the fact that apart from confession of co-accused, there is no material available against the petitioner on record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Garhwa in connection with Meral P.S.
