GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 31785 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents no. 3 and 4 in not conducting the investigation and filing charge sheet in FIR No.35/2025 dated 13.02.2025 registered against the respondents no. 5 to 10 is as illegal, arbitrary and violative of article 14, 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the provisions of BNS, as well as SC, ST POA Act and consequently direct the respondents 3 and 4 to conclude the investigation and file charge sheet and pass.…” 2. Heard Sri P.Narasimhulu, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the Respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the present petition is filed seeking a direction to the police to conclude the investigation and file a report in FIR No.35/2025 dated 13.02.2025 of Hindupur I Town Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 351(2) r/w 3(5) of BNS as expeditiously as possible. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the Respondents would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders. 5. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to conclude the investigation in FIR No.35/2025 dated 13.02.2025 of Hindupur I Town Police Station and file a report according to 4 law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of copy of this Order, if not already filed by this date. There shall be no order as to costs.
