The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kharsawan P.S. Case No. 11 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.236 of 2023, S.T. Case No.167 of 2023, for the offence under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella. On 04.03.2023, the informant went the house of Mungli Sardarin. When he entered inside, he found that somebody had murdered her. The son of the deceased had informed that the petitioner, who is the brother-in-law of the deceased, had murdered her. The statement of the son of the deceased Mansa Sardar has been recorded, in which, he has stated that petitioner had assaulted her by Machete, due to which, she succumbed to her injuries. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
