The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; a. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the Respondent to take immediate action inaccordance with the Karnataka Prevention of Slaughter and Preservation of Cattle Act, 2020, and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. A copy of the representation dated 18.03.2025 submitted by the petitioner is annexed herewith as Annexure-A b. Direct the respondent to set vigilance checkpoints at sensitive locations, conduct inspections of slaughter houses, and ensure strict enforcement of laws to prevent illegal cattle transportation and slaughter. c.
