The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jarmundi P.S. Case No. 12 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.698 of 2024, for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, whereas chargesheet submitted under Sections 392 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dumka. During the intervening period between 13/14.02.2024, the Informant was waylaid by three unknown persons on Basukinath-Nonihat Road. Unknown persons looted the pick-up van, loaded with fish. It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR, nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dumka, in connection with Jarmundi P.S.
