1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a limited prayer that the representation dated 05/12/2024 Annexure P-13, which is pending before the Collector has not been decided and the Collector is not considering the objection regarding the NOC, which has been granted to the respondent No.8, as the same is against the circular dated 24/07/2013 and 26/06/2020 issued by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation to the Collector dated
3 05/12/2024 and also to the Chief Engineer (National Highway) vide Annexure P-15 dated 18/12/2024, but till date, no decision has been taken on the representations submitted by the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that if the representations are pending before the authority and it has not been decided yet, the same shall be decided by the stipulated period.
4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties and perused the representations submitted by the petitioner.
5. As the representations are pending before the authority i.e. the Collector as well as the Chief Engineer (National Highway), the respondents are directed to consider the representations filed by the petitioner within a period of twenty days in accordance with law.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is
disposed of. SD/-
