The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chouparan P.S. Case No. 13/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 17(c), 18(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge- cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribagh. 3. On 25.12.2022, Chouparan Police, on the basis of confidential information, destructed poppy cultivation from Mudia Protected Forest, Chouparan. 4. It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of confidential information given by villagers whose names have not been disclosed. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S.
