A case has been registered against the Petitioner herein and others for the offence punishable under section 20(b)('Ii)(B) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and PsychOtrOPiC Substances Act, 1985 (for Short lthe NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the Prosecution, in brief, 'lS that, On 05.10.2022, on receipt of credible -Information, the Sub-Inspector Of Police along with his staff and mediators rushed to ThandaVa Junction and found the accused in possession of 4.6Kgs of Ganja. The contraband along w-lth other material was seized under the cover of mediators report. 4. Heard. PerusedthereCOrd. 5. On perusal Of the material On record goes tO Show that basing on the confessional statement of Al to A3, name Of the petltloner hereln/A4 ls arrayed aS accused ln the Present Crlme ln pursuant to the confesslonal statement, the petltloner hereln was // I / I arrested on 30.10.2024. _Except the confessional statement, there I/ is no other material is collected showing the complicity of the petitioner in the present crime. Learned Assistant PublI'C Prosecutor submitted that major portion of investigation has been completed. 6. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A4 on the following conditions. i) The petitioner/A4 shall be released on bail on his executing personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge for Trial of Offences under NDPS Act, Visakhapatnam. ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, once in a week i.e., on every Saturday between 10.00 am and 01.00 pm, till filing of the charge sheet. 7.
