The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashment of FIR No. 0022/2022 dated 18.05.2022, registered at Police Station Women Cell, Rajouri, under Sections 498-A/109 and also Charge Sheet No. 13/24 dated 13.11.2024, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rajouri. 2. During the pendency of the petition, the parties have amicably settled their disputes. In terms of the directions of this Court, the parties appeared before the Registrar Judicial of this Court and their statements have been recorded, affirming that the matter has been resolved voluntarily and without any coercion. Statements of parties are taken on record. 3. Mr. Bhanu Jasrotia, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, has no objection to the quashment of the FIR and Charge Sheet in view of the settlement and statements recorded. 4. I have considered the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and perused the record, coupled with the submissions made at bar. Since the dispute -2- CRM(M) 705/2025 has been amicably resolved between the parties, and their statements confirm such settlement, no useful purpose would be served by continuing the proceedings. 5. In view of the amicable settlement between the parties, the petition is allowed and FIR No.0022/2022 dated 18.05.2022, registered at Police Station Women Cell, Rajouri, under Sections 498-A/109 and Charge Sheet No. 13/24 dated 13.11.2024, pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rajouri, is hereby quashed. 6.
