Order on Board 16/01/2025 Heard.
1. By the present petition the petitioner is questioning the order of rejection of interim application by the Collector, Rajnandgaon.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proceedings under Section 40 of the C.G. Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 has been drawn against the petitioner and order of removal has been passed by the SDO (Revenue) dated 16.12.2024. He further submits that against the said order, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Collector, Rajnandgaon along with an application for grant of interim relief. He further submits that the Collector passed the order dated 24.12.2024, rejecting the stay application and the appeal is kept pending for decision.
3. Learned State counsel on instructions submit that next date has been fixed on 20.01.2025 for hearing by the Collector and submits that the pending appeal will be decided expeditiously.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the

5. Perusal of order sheets placed by the petitioner Annexure P-1 shows that the application for interim relief has already been rejected by the Collector vide order dated 24.12.2024 and the appeal is fixed for hearing on 20.01.2025 as the appeal is still pending before the Collector.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts, the Collector, Rajnandgaon is
directed to decide the appeal of the petitioner within 10 days from today.
7. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off. Sd/-
