The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Giridih (Town) P.S. Case No. 240 of 2019, for the offences registered under Sections 420/409/120B/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Giridih. Petitioner happens to be the Sub-Postmaster of Head Post Office, Giridih. It is alleged that huge amount of money was withdrawn on the basis of fake bank draft. It was submitted that for the same occurrence many cases have been registered and one of the cases was investigated by CBI, for which R.C. case has been instituted. It was further submitted that petitioner has been granted bail in R.C. case as well as one of the police cases. It was further submitted that petitioner has also lodged a police case against one Arvind Kumar Pandey that he has misappropriated the alleged amount. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Giridih, in connection with Giridih (Town) P.S.
