GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, (a) Declaring the inaction of the respondents in not registering an FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.08.2025 and representation dated 06.10.2025 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional, and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India (b) Direct the Respondents, particularly Respondent No.5, the Station Flouse Officer, Gannavaram Police Station, to forthwith register an FIR on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.08.2025 for the offences 2 disclosed therein under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and conduct a fair. impartial, and expeditious investigation under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police, Krishna District (c)Direct the 3rd Respondent, Superintendent of Police, Krishna District, to ensure protection to the petitioner and her family members from any threat or harm by the accused persons (d) and pass” 2. Heard Sri V.R.Maheswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that a case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No. 531 of 2025 of Bachupally Police Station, and she was remanded in that case. It is further submitted that, only to overcome the said case, the petitioner has submitted a representation with false allegations. The police have enquired into the matter and found the allegations to be false; therefore, no crime has been registered on the basis of the representation made by the petitioner. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedies before appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
