PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.25 of 2019, on the file of the III Town Police Station, Eluru, West Godavari District. 2. When the petition came up for hearing on 07.02.2019, this Court has passed the following order: “In the meantime, there shall be interim stay of arrest of the petitioners- accused Nos.3, 5 and 6.” 3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of instructions issued by the Inspector of Police, Eluru III Town Police Station, wherein it is stated that, during the course of the investigation, the then investigating office had examined L.W.1 to L.W.9 and recorded their detailed statements in Part-II of Case diary, but, till date, no charge sheet has been filed and requested time to file the same. 4. In view of the fact that the investigation in the present case was not stalled by this Court and as no charge sheet has been filed till date, the Police are directed to file a charge sheet in the present petition after completion of the investigation as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners. 5. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
