By way of the instant petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs:- 10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a Suitable writ and to direct the respondent no 03 the SDO (Revenue), Korba, to decide the Petitioner application for Correction of Revenue Records in the Name of Present Petitioners. 10.2 That the Hon’ble Court Direct the Competent Authority to decide the Petitioner Application for Recording the names of Petitioners in Revenue Records. 10.3 Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem and proper in the present circumstances of the case. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that by way of the instant petition he is challenging the order dated 13/06/2025 passed by Respondent No.4 Tehsildar Korba stating that the correction of the Revenue Records under Section 89 of the CGLRC, 1959 will be done by the appropriate authority which is SDM (Revenue) Korba whereas the SDM (Revenue) Korba earlier by order dated 17/03/2020 remanded the matter to the Tehsildar Korba for its proper disposal. 3. Per contra, learned State counsel opposes the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners. 3 / 3 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties at length and perused the documents with utmost circumspection. 5. Perusal of the documents would show that the petitioners have filed an application under Section 35 (3) of the CGLRC and pursuant to which the revenue case No.202506050600034/2022-2023 has been registered which is pending. Therefore, considering the entire facts & circumstances of the case, it is directed that Respondents No.3 & 4 shall conclude the said proceedings emanated by the application filed by the petitioner dated 25/09/2023 (Annexure P/6) expeditiously as early as possible preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the application of the petitioner on its own merits. 7.
