SRINIVAS CHITTURU The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the inordinate action of the respondents in not freezing the bank accounts of the petitioner bearing Savings Account No- 602601552050, Over Draft Account No- 602605057391 and Credit Card No- 4375517834298012, ICICI Bank Ltd, T Nagar Branch, Chennai and the bank account of the 9th respondent bearing Account No- 77770105418145, The Federal Bank Ltd, Neo Banking - Jupiter with UPI ID- 9848228844@novartis and Indusind Bank Account No- 159888123666 despite of him cheating the petitioner to a tune of Rs.17,50,000/-(Rupees Seventeen Lakhs Fifty Thousand) and despite of the repeated representations made by the petitioner to the official respondents herein as highly illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of Article 14, 19, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and violative of the procedure contemplated under Section 102 of Cr.P.0 and against the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the judgements reported in 1999 7 SCC 685, 2018 2 SCC 372 and 2019 20 SCC 119, and violative of the provisions enshrined under Information Technology Act and against the guidelines laid down by the Reserve Bank of India, consequentially direct the official respondents herein to freeze the bank accounts of the petitioner bearing Savings Account No- 602601552050, Over Draft Account No-602605057391 and Credit Card No- 4375517834298012, ICICI Bank Ltd, T Nagar Branch, Chennai and the bank accounts of the 9th respondent bearing Account No- 77770105418145, The Federal Bank Ltd, Neo Banking - Jupiter with UPI ID- 9848228844@novartis and Indusind Bank Account No- 159888123666 in view of the law laid down by the 3 Hon'ble Supreme Court in the judgements reported in 1999 7 SCC 685, 2018 2 SCC 372 and 2019 20 SCC 119” 2.
