HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAHUL BHARTI, JUDGE
Sr. No. 164
2 WP(C) No. 1961/2025
ORDER 22.07.2025
1. Since this petition is for seeking protection order from this Court by purported reference to the fact that the petitioners No. 1 and 2 have married each other, the writ petition has been signed only by the petitioner No. 2, namely, Suhaib Samir supported by his own affidavit to the exclusion of the petitioner No. 1 who is neither signing the writ petition nor subscribing any affidavit in support of the writ petition meaning thereby this petition is not to be reckoned as to be one filed by the petitioner No. 1.
2. Merely because of the fact that the petitioner No. 1 has subscribed herself to vakalatnama in favour of Mr. Abid Khan, Advocate does not suffice the purpose that petitioner No. 1 is to be reckoned by this Court to have joined herself as a co-petitioner with the petitioner No. 2 to seek the direction as solicited in the writ petition.
3. For this deficient aspect of the case, this writ petition cannot be entertained as it is as such dismissed leaving it for the petitioners to come up with a writ petition in proper format which is duly signed by both the sides supported by the affidavits of both the petitioners in support of the writ petition whereupon this Court could be taking cognizance of the concern of the petitioners whatsoever, if any, relating to
3 WP(C) No. 1961/2025
the fact that on account of solemnization of their marriage they are being harassed and intimidated by the parental family of the petitioner No. 1.
4. Connected application also stands dismissed.
