The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent no.3 to complete process for compassionate appointment of the petitioner, within stipulated period. 10.2 Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit.” 2. Mr.Verma, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that father of the petitioner namely, Late Gariba Yadav was REKHA SINGH Digitally signed by REKHA SINGH -2- working on the post of Choukidar under the respondent authorities. He would contend that he died in harness on 14.12.2012 and initially, an application for compassionate appointment was moved by his grandson which was closed vide order dated 22.06.2013 as according to the Policy, grandson has no right to claim compassionate appointment. He would submit that the petitioner who is son of late Gariba Yadav moved an application for compassionate appointment on 11.11.2013 but till date, it has not been considered and decided by the respondent authorities. He would submit that a direction may be issued to respondent No.2 to decide the pending application expeditiously. 3. On the other hand, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State would oppose the submissions made by Mr. Verma. 4. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the documents placed on the record. 5. Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by Mr. Verma, this petition, at this juncture, is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the pending application of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment dated 11.11.2013 expeditiously preferably within a period of 120 days from the date of a receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
