1. Heard Mr. Rudra Pratap Dubey, learned counsel on behalf of Mr. Goutam Khetrapal, learned counsel for the petitioners and also heard Mr. Hariom Rai, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State and Mr. Abhijeet Sarkar, learned counsel for respondent No.2.
2. The petitioners have filed the instant petition with the following prayer:-
“It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and quash impugned FIR bearing Crime No. 518/2022 registered at Police Station, Bemetara, District-Bemetara (C.G.) against the petitioners for the offence punishable under Section 323, 34, 498-A of IPC, in the interest of justice accordingly.”

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the present matter the trial is at advanced stage and the prosecution evidence is to be closed shortly, hence, he does not want to press this petition further.
