Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 22.07.2025, the promotion order has been issued on the post of Lecturer (LB) (T- cadre), but the name of the petitioner is not find place in the said list despite eligible for promotion. Against the order dated 22.07.2025 (Annexure P/1), the petitioner made his representation to the authorities concerned, but till date his representation has not been considered, and therefore, he has filed the present writ petition for consideration of his name also for promotion on the post of Lecturer (LB) (T-cadre). 2. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the State, on instructions, would submit that the case of the petitioner and his service record is being re-examined by the authorities and they are going to constitute a review DPC and in review DPC if the petitioner is found suitable and comes under the zone of consideration for promotion on the post of Lecturer (LB) (T-cadre), his name would also be considered and he would be also given promotion on the date, when the other candidates have been promoted i.e. from 22.07.2025. He would submit a written instructions in the case, which is being taken on record. 3. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, since an statement has been made by the State counsel with respect to consideration of his case, as of now, he does not want to prosecute the present petition. However, liberty may be reserved to him to redress his grievance, if the occasion so arises. 3 4. On due consideration the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed, at this stage, reserving the liberty in favour of the petitioner that he may take recourse to law, if eventuality so arises.
