1. Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
2. Sri.Pradyumna L. Narasimha,
learned counsel accepts notice for respondent No.3.
3. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs,
"(a) call for the entire records of the Original Application No.465/2025 pending before the Hon'ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Bengaluru, and after perusal to issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction quashing the impugned interim
order dated 18.09.2025 passed by the Hon'ble Central Administrative Tribunal, Bengaluru in Original Application No.465/2025 vide Annexure-'A'.
(b) issue such other Writs, Direction and Orders as this court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case; and;
in the interest of justice and equity."

What is challenged is the order dated 18.09.2025 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Bengaluru, staying the order dated 12.09.2025 by virtue of which the petitioner and one other Mr. Umesh Kumar had been promoted to the post of Director General of Police with the petitioner being posted as Chairman and Managing Director, Karnataka State Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation limited.
5. The apprehension on part of Sri. P.S.Rajagopal, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner is that, in view of the stay of the order dated 12.09.2025, the petitioner occupying the post of the Director General of Police and Chairman and Managing Director, Karnataka State Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation limited, there is a possibility of his post being disturbed and or that the if he were to continue in the said post, contempt proceedings would be brought about by

6. Sri. Dhyan Chinnappa, learned Senior Counsel appearing for respondent No.3 would however submit that respondent No.3 has in principal no objection for the petitioner to continue in the said post. However, as regards the promotion of the petitioner to the post of Director General of Police, the same would have to be considered by the Central Administrative Tribunal in the proceedings which are pending before the Tribunal.
7. In that view of the matter, they cannot be any particular grievance for the petitioner insofar as the interim order is concerned. Since the petitioner would continue in the post and the promotion of the petitioner would have to be decided by the Central Administrative Tribunal. No orders being required to be passed except to take on record the submission of
