ORDER: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-
“.... to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the impugned proceedings of the 3rd respondent vide Rc.No.2656/2017(B) dated 16.12.2017 as illegal, arbitrary, violative of principles of natural justice and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondents to release the Tractor-Trailer bearing No.AP.02-TB 7935/ AP.02-TB 7937 which was seized by the 4th respondent

on 28.11.2017 to the petitioner herein forthwith in the interest of justice.”
2. Heard Mr. Kanaka Raju,
learned counsel, representing Mr. E.Maruthi Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology is present.
3. As observed from the proceedings sheet, this Court on 28.12.2017 has passed the following interim order:
“W.P.No.44511 of 2017
Rule Nisi. Call for records.
Notice returnable in four weeks. I.A.No.1 of 2017
There shall be interim direction to the 4th respondent to release the tractor & trailer bearing Registration No.AP 02-TB 7935/AP 02-TB 793, to the petitioner for interim custody, subject to payment of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only). It is made clear that release of the vehicle is subject to the outcome of the Writ Petition.
The petitioner is also directed to furnish an undertaking that he will not alienate the vehicle or create any third party interest over it and will not alter its nature.
Notice.”
4. On hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that, in view of the interim order of this Court, dated 28.12.2017, the grievance of the petitioner was redressed. Hence, no

further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition and it may be closed.
5. Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
