NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondent Nos. 4 and 5 to consider the representation dated 08.09.2023 produced at Annexure-H submitted by the petitioner and consider his claim for promotion to the post of Clerk cum Data Entry Operator as per 2020 Rules.” - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39071 WP No. 31997 of 2024 2. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as a Watchman in the fifth respondent–Panchayat. Since the next promotional post of Clerk was vacant, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.09.2023 (Annexure-H) to the fourth and fifth respondents. As no order was passed, the petitioner has approached this Court. 3. The petitioner submitted a representation on 08.09.2023, which has not yet been considered by the respondents. Therefore, it would suffice for this Court to direct the fourth and fifth respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 08.09.2023 (Annexure- H), in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, and in any event, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
