For issuance of a writ of mandamus against the respondents commanding upon them to immediately and forthwith remove the anomaly in pay scale as well as Grade Pay of the petitioners with that of other IV Grade employees who have been appointed along with the petitioners in different post of Grade IV at Jharkhand Armed Police- 2, Tatisilve, Ranchi by virtue of Advertisement Nos.1/08 with same basic qualification of Seventh pass. ii. For the issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents for fixing an uniform and similar pay scale and to immediately and forthwith make payments and arrear of salary of the petitioners according to the pay scale and Grade Pay at par with the other similarly situated Grade IV employees without any discrimination.” 3. The main grievance of the petitioners is that in Group-D post though the nature of work is similar there is anomaly in pay scale. He submits that this anomaly may be removed as this petitioner and others performed the same work, but the scale which they are getting is different. 4. Learned counsel for the State submits that petitioners should represent before the Secretary, Finance, Government of Jharkhand and also before the Secretary/Principal Secretary Home, Government of Jharkhand who will consider the case of the petitioners. 5. Considering the submission of the petitioners and the nature of dispute, which is in respect of pay anomaly of Group-D employees, I direct the petitioners to file detail representation before the Secretary, Finance, Government of Jharkhand and also before the Secretary/Principal Secretary Home, Government of Jharkhand. 6. Both these Officers will place the representation of the petitioners with their separate inputs before appropriate authority, who will consider the case of the petitioners and will pass a reasoned order. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioners. If the claim of the petitioners of pay anomaly is not removed, the decision for not accepting the prayer of the petitioners should be communicated to the petitioners. If the authority decides to give any relief to the petitioners, the same should be granted to the petitioners as expeditiously as possible. Petitioners should file a representation within a period of four weeks. 7. It is expected that the grievance of the petitioners be taken up and reasoned order be passed within ten weeks thereafter. 8. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J.) R.S.
