The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Rajrappa P.S. Case No.26 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 140(1), 103(1), 238/3(5) of the B.N.S, 2023, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Ramgarh. On 26.01.2025, wife of the informant namely Sangita Devi went missing. On 03.02.2025, her dead body was recovered from Damodar River. Suspicion has been raised against the petitioner and co-accused persons that they might have committed her murder. It was submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused Basudeo Kewat @ Prakash Kewat has been granted bail by this court earlier. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Ramgarh, in connection with Rajrappa P.S.
