Heard the parties.
Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case and as such, these bail applications are being disposed of by this common order.
The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Barhi P.S. Case No. 153 of 2023, for the offence under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Hazaribag.
Petitioner Mahavir Yadav and petitioner Sakuni Devi @ Sakunti Devi are the brother-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased Umni Devi, who died in suspicious circumstances.
From the perusal of the postmortem report, it appears that no external injury was found on the person of the deceased and the cause of death of the deceased has not been ascertained.
Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Hazaribag, in connection with Barhi P.S. Case No. 153 of 2023.
