Accordingly, both these bail applications are being disposed of by a common order. Heard the parties. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 229 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 18/22/27(a)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Cases, Chatra. On 30.06.2025, Chatra Sadar Police, apprehended these petitioners along with co-accused persons from a place near Kathoria Road. On search, 2.191 kgs of opium were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that the quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Cases, Chatra, in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S.
