Petitioner complains that in spite of depositing the amount in respect of the water bodies which related to certain lease rentals for the period from 01.06.2025 to 31.03.2026 inconveniences were faced by him. Police report reflects that prior to the lease Debichak Gram Committee had already released fish seedlings into water bodies without being aware of the leasing arrangements. On discovery, the village committee requested the petitioner’s permission to harvest the fish which they had stocked, however the petitioner refused. This led to quarrels between the petitioner and the private respondents. Police authorities have acknowledged that the petitioner being in possession. Consequently, if the petitioner 2 is faced with any inconveniences relating to the water body where he has been cultivating and harvesting in respect of fish seedlings/carrying out the pisciculture, police authorities would render assistance so that no untoward incidents took place or any resistance is faced by the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations WPA 21218 of 2025 is disposed of. Report submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
