Petitioners want a direction to be issued to the State to take appropriate and immediate action to secure the petitioners from unwarranted and unauthorized interference by the Lekhpal. Perusal of the record indicates that there is a dispute with regard to immovable property particularly with regard to its identification and demarcation etc. Such issues can always be examined by instituting civil proceedings before the competent court. Neither a writ petition would be maintainable for such purposes nor any direction to the administrative authority would be required. The writ petition is accordingly consign to record.
