...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to Issue a Writ, Order, Director more particularly one in the nature of Writ of MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of the fifth and sixth respondents in taking steps to absorb/regularize the services of the petitioners as Peons/Watchmen in the fifth respondent bank in the existing vacancies of the approved cadre strength as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of section 116-C of the A.P. The court made the following ORDER:-
The writ petition is filed under Art. 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following main relief:-
“……declaring the inaction of the fifth and sixth respondents in taking steps to absorb/regularize the services of the petitioners as Peons/Watchmen in the fifth respondent bank in the existing vacancies of the approved cadre strength as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of section 116-C of the A.P. Cooperative Societies Act, 1964 and consequently direct the fifth and sixth respondents to absorb/regularize the services of the petitioners and to pass.……”
2. When the matter is called, Sri S. Kartheek, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Sri G. Naveen, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Cooperation, jointly submit that the petitioners’ services were regularized by the 5th respondent / Tirupati Cooperative Bank, and they are continuing in the service. They submit that the writ petition has become infructuous. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader has also placed a copy of the proceedings vide Rc.No.768/2017-C2 dated 18.09.2025 issued by the 5th respondent, to that effect. 4. Recording the above said submissions and making the proceedings dated 18.09.2025 issued by the 5th respondent as a part of record, the writ petition is closed as no further orders are required. 6
