GP FOR TRANSPORT (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in passing resolution No. 64 of 2018 dated 19-6-2018 in rejecting the claim of the petitioners in not enhancing the superannuation period of the APSRTC employees from 58 to 60 is illegal, arbitrary, discrimination and violation of principles of natural justice, contrary to the Act 4 of 2014, dated. 27.06.2014 and violation of Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and set aside the same, and consequently direct the respondents to continue the petitioners in service till the petitioners attains 60 years of age with all consequential benefits in the interest of justice.” 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri P.Govinda Rajulu, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that no further orders are required in this matter as the relief sought in this petition has become infructuous. 3.
