The petitioner has preferred this writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to RUKHSAR BANO Digitally signed by RUKHSAR BANO Date: 2025.07.24 15:12:21 +0530 2 call for the entire records of the case from the authorities concerned for its kind perusal. 10.2 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent authorities to release the GPF amount along with interest till realization, deducted by the Department in his GPF pass book No. MD/NMP 95322 through Respondent No.5 i.e. the Jail Superintendent, Central Jail, Jagdalpur (CG). 10.3 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper be also awarded.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was Assistant Teacher and served the post for about eight years, subsequently, he was convicted in Sessions Trial No.431/1995 for the offence of murder and other offences and has been sentenced for life imprisonment, which he is serving. He would further submit that only because of his detention in jail, his GPF amount has not been paid by respondent- department. 4. When specific question was posed to the counsel for the petitioner that, whether he has made any representation before the concerned authority /respondent No.4 for redressal of his grievance, then he submits that no such representation has been filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to file representation before respondent No.4 for redressal of his grievance. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to allow the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 6. On due consideration, the petitioner is permitted to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file representation before respondent No.4 for 3 redressal of his grievance. It is further observed that petitioner is said to be in jail, therefore, he is permitted to send his representation through respondent No.5, within a period of 30 days from today. In the event of receiving of such representation, respondent No.4 is directed to decide the same within further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of representation of petitioner. 7.
