This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring that the Notification No.E3/255(02)/2018-PO-II, dated 03.12.2018 directing to freeze the vacancies in Civil Engineering Department and utilize the outsourcing personnel against regular sanctioned posts and consequential Office Order No.P2/255(165)/2018PO-I, dated 06.12.2018 directing to withdraw the services of the petitioner from Civil Engineering Department and to repatriate to the parent Region is unjust, arbitrary, contrary to Recruitment Regulations, discriminatory and in violation of Article 14, Article 16 and Article 21 of the Constitution of India set aside the same and consequently direct the Respondents to absorb the petitioner as Deputy Section Officer (Civil)/Section Officer (Civil) in the interest of justice and fair play and pass …”
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri A.G.Satyanarayana Rao,
learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition may be
disposed of since the relief has become infructuous.
3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, since, the relief has become infructuous. No order as to Costs.
