The petitioners have assailed the supplementary award of the competent authority dated 13.12.2023 in respect of the superstructure existing over the acquired land. The submission is that the award is contrary to the evidence on record. 2. Under the scheme of the Act, the award of competent authority is subject to challenge before arbitrator as per Section 20-F(6) of the Railways Act, 1989. 3. Consequently, we are not inclined to examine the challenge in exercise of writ jurisdiction. 4. The petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail the statutory remedy, if so advised. 5.
