3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N. CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION NO: 44643 of 2018 The Court made the following Order: Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State. 2.
Learned Additional Government Pleader on written instructions would submit that currently a Notification under the name CAS-August 2025 has been released duly calling online application for award of Career Advancement Scheme to the Teachers working in Collegiate Education Department of Andhra Pradesh and therefore, the Petitioners can apply afresh in the present CAS and their publications will be review by the Selection Committee constitute as per the UGC norms. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are willing to submit application afresh and the respondents may be directed to consider the same in accordance with the rules. 4. In view of the submission made by learned counsel on both sides, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is of the considered opinion the present Writ Petition may be disposed of at the stage of admission itself, giving liberty to the petitioners to
4 submit fresh application and on such presentation, the respondent authorities shall consider the same, in accordance with the rules. 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dispose of.
