The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Barharwa P.S. Case No. 148 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B)/22(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj. It was submitted that 2.996 kgs. of Ganja were recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused persons. It was further submitted that quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj, in connection with Barharwa P.S.
