Order on Board 22/01/2025 Heard.
1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is questioning the reservation of Gram Panchayat kokdi, Tahsil Mungeli, Janpad Panchayat Pathariya, District Mungeli, (C.G.), though the petitioner has preferred the present petition questioning the notification of reservation of the gram panchayat, but the petitioner has not stated in the petition that how he has been aggrieved by the reservation done pursuance to the Annexure P-1.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has preferred a representation before the Collector/District Election Officer vide representation dated 10.01.2025, which is still pending and it has not been decided by the Collector/District Election Officer.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents/State submits that as the petitioner has already approached the Collector/District Election
3 Officer and if the said representation has not been decided till date, the same will be considered and decided in accordance with law by considering the grievance raised by the petitioner in the petition.
4. I have heard learned counsel for both the parties.
5. In view of submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Collector/District Election Officer to decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 10.01.2025 within a period of 5 days, if the same is still pending before him.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition is
