GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents particularity 5th respondent herein to complete the investigation according to law in Crime No. 206 of 2017 dated 14-11-2017 on the file of 5th respondent herein.” 2 2. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that there is no negligence in conducting investigation of the above crime and the same will be completed as early as possible. 3. For ready reference, the written instructions are extracted hereunder: “It is submitted that the 5th respondent herein has to examine some more witnesses in this crime, to know about the genuinity whether the accused is the legally wedded wife of deceased or not. In any event, if the accused is identified as the legally wedded wife of the deceased, the case of the writ petitioner herein will not be maintainable. In such circumstances, the keen investigation is necessary in this crime. Due to the same, the investigation of the crime is not yet completed. It is submitted that the respondent police have great respect on the courts and its orders. There is no irregularity or negligence in conducting the investigation of the crime. This respondent will complete the investigation as early as possible…….” 4. Sri Challa Ajay Kumar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
