The petitioners have preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayers :- "(A) A Writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 3 to not to hold election of Work Committee 2025-2027 of 509 Army Base Workshop Agra on the basis of voter list including the persons of managerial capacity such viz as SSS and Telephone Supervisors as per the Special Unit Order dated 25 Mar 2025 published by 509 Army Base Workshop Agra. (B) A Writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 3 to issue fresh schedule of Election for Works Committee year 2025-2027 by publishing a fresh voter list excluding the persons of managerial capacity such viz as SSS and Telephone Supervisors for the election of Work Committee of 509 Army Base C) A Writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No. 3 to hold the Election of work committee of 509 Army Base Workshop Agra at 509 Army Base Workshop Agra for the year 2025-2027 strictly and in accordance with Industrial Dispute Act 1947 read with Industrial Dispute Rules 1957." 2. After some arguments, a prayer has been made by counsel for the petitioners to dismiss present writ petition as not pressed at this stage. 3. Prayer made is allowed. 4.
