( 2025:JHHC:30555 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 8886 of 2025 ------- Mohan Parahiya @ Alok Parahiya, aged about 37 years, son of Late Ramcharan Parahiya, R/o Village Nawadih, Chakalwa Tola, P.O. & P.S. Chhipadohar, District Latehar. …... …. Petitioner(s) Versus The State of Jharkhand .…. …. Opp. Party -------- CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH -------- For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Amit Kumar, Advocate For the State : Mrs. Lily Sahay, A.P. P. -------- 02/ Dated 26.09.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chhipadohar P.S. Case No. 44 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.143 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 341, 323 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-B)(a)/26/35 of the Arms Act, Sections 25(6)/25(7) of Arms Amended Act and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Latehar. On 21.12.2023 at about 4:30 p.m., Chhipadohar Police on the basis of confidential information, raided the house of Navin Tirkey. On search, arms and ammunitions were recovered from there. It was submitted that petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has got criminal antecedent. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Latehar, in connection with Chhipadohar P.S. Case No. 44 of 2023, corresponding to G.R. Case No.143 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) 26th September, 2025 BS/-
