This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:
“to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ Order or Orders Direction or Directions declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in retiring the petitioners on completion of 58 years of age as illegal and unconstitutional and issue consequential directions

to the 2nd respondent to continue the petitioners in service till they complete the age of 60 years with all benefits and to pass...”

Ms. Priya Anvitha, learned counsel representing Sri Vedula Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in view of the subsequent events taken place in the lis, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submission made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no orders as to costs.
