GP FOR ENDOWMENTS (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “…..to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in appointing a Committee and Chairman of Sri Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple situated Ramakrishna Nagar Visakhapatnam under proceedings in Rc.No.B2/23859/2015, dated 12.11.2015 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, malifide and contrary to the Rules envisaged under Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act in violation of rights guaranteed under the Constitution of India apart from violation of principles of natural justice and consequently setaside the same by directing the respondents to include the petitioner as Founder 2 Family Member Trustee-cum-Chairman of the Trust Board and to pass …..” 2. Heard Mr. M.Kesava Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 and Mr. A.S.C.Bose, learned counsel for the respondent No.4. 3. As seen from the proceeding sheet, this Court has not granted any interim order. 4. On hearing, learned Government Pleader for Endowments submits that the term of the trustee was for a period of two (02) years. As the term period has already lapsed, no cause survives in the Writ Petition at present and it may be closed. 5. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed.
