JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI Digitally signed by MEGHA MOHAN Location: HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA - 2 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34579 WP No. 18059 of 2025 ORAL ORDER Aggrieved by the orders passed on I.A.No.1 in Crl.Misc.No.109/2024 dated 17.04.2025, whereby the family court had granted Rs.5,000/- as maintenance to the wife, the husband is before this court. 2. Both the parties are referred to as husband and wife for the sake of convenience. 3. When the matter came up for admission, when it is contended that without looking at the income of the husband the court had granted Rs.5,000/-, this court has specifically asked the counsel what is the income of the husband. Then learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to get instructions. 4. Today when the matter came up in the morning it is submitted that the client has not given any instructions. Again the matter is passed over. Even in the afternoon also it is submitted that no such instructions are given by the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner do not want to reveal the correct facts before the court and in that case the maintenance amount - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34579 WP No. 18059 of 2025 that is granted is only Rs.5,000/- and this court finds no reason to interfere. Accordingly, this court is passing the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is dismissed. ii. All pending I.As., in the petition shall stand closed.
