Heard learned Counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed for the following relief : "(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 29.01.2025 (Annexure No. 5 to the writ petition) passed by the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar, Tehsil Moth, District Jhansi in Case No.04373/2023, Computerized Case No.T202306370204373 (Rahul Versus Gaon Sabha), Under Section 34, U.P. Revenue Code, 2006; (ii) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar, Tehsil Moth, District Jhansi for entry of petitioners' name in revenue record on the basis of Gift Deed dated 02.08.2023 executed by late Swami Prasad in their favour;" 3. Learned Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection that against the order impugned, the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing an appeal under the provisions of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 4. Since, the petitioner has an alternative remedy, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter. 5.
