GP MUNCIPAL ADMN AND URBAN DEV(AP) The Court made the following: 2 HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.41898 of 2018 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed declaring the action of 2nd respondent in privatizing the collection of the advertisement tax in favour of private agency as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of Municipal Corporation Act and Judgments of Hon’ble High Court and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to collect the advertisement tax from advertising agencies. 2. It is represented by Sri V.V.Anil Kumar, learned counsel, representing Sri S.M.Venkatesham, learned counsel for the petitioner that issue in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication, since the Respondent-Corporation alone is collecting the advertisement tax. 3. Learned Standing Counsel also submits the same. 4. In that view, no cause survives for adjudication in the present petition. 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
