The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers :- “(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 05.07.2017 passed by respondent no. 2 (Annexure No. 8 to the writ petition). (II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue as junior Assistant in District Development Office, Tehri Garhwal. (III) Issue any other writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstance of the case. (IV) Award the cost of the petition in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Mr. Bhupendra Singh Koranga, Brief Holder appearing for the respondents, submitted that the grievances of the petitioner have already been redressed and he is getting all service benefits of the promotional post of Junior Assistant from the date of his promotion as well as his seniority has also been determined considering his date of promotion. 4. After the said submissions, Mr. Maneesh Bisht, Advocate, has requested to dispose of the writ petition in the light of the said submissions of the learned counsel for the respondents. 5.
