Today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent filed a memo reporting settlement. The memo reads as under: "The complainant and the accused/respondent, with the intervention of the well-wishers and friends, settled their dispute with respect to the subject matter of the petition and as per their settlement the complainant No. 1 and 2 have agreed to receive Rs. 1,60,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Sixty Thousand Only), each, from the accused/respondent against their claim made in the petition. Accordingly, the accused has paid the complainant No. 1 amount of Rs. 1,60,000/- by way of Demand Draft bearing No. 524745, dated 13/10/2025, issued by Indian Bank, Richmond Circle Branch, Bangalore and paid the complainant No. 2 amount of Rs. 1,60,000/- by way of Demand Draft bearing No. 524746, dated 13/10/2025, issued by Indian Bank, Richmond Circle Branch, Bangalore. The complainant acknowledges the receipt of the same.
