The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patan P.S. Case No. 121/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 115(2), 117(2), 127(2), 109, 299 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri R. S. Pandey, learned Judicial Magistrate, Palamau. On 06.07.2025, a group of two hundred persons variously armed intercepted the procession of Muharram. Petitioner was one of the members of procession. It is alleged that there was some altercation between both the sides which ensued in a free fight. One of the persons from the side of the petitioner died. It was submitted that as far as petitioner is concerned, there is no specific allegation against him. It was further submitted that there is case and counter case with regard to the same occurrence. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri R.
