GP FOR CIVIL SUPPLIES (AP) The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: The present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “…declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in cancelling the authorization of the petitioner vide proceedings Rc.No.3439/2015/B, dated 16.03.2016 is illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and consequently set aside the same and pass such other order or orders…” 2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies furnished a copy of the petitioner's death certificate, establishing that the petitioner passed away on 29.09.2019. 3. The writ petition was filed way back in the year 2016, challenging the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 16.03.2016, whereby the petitioner's authorization was cancelled. During his lifetime, the petitioner did not obtain any interim order in the matter. 4. In view of the fact that the petitioner is no more and no interim order was granted while he was alive, this Court is of the opinion that no cause survives in the writ petition. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated.
